Custom raised-relief maps of AVA/wine areas are becoming increasingly popular tools for winemakers. This 34”-wide 3D map models the combined Napa and Sonoma region in California. We used an elevation color ramp to complement the 3D shape, clearly showing the topography in relation to the various AVAs in the region. The different AVAs are color-coded and labeled.
