Summit's 40" x 28" earth-image relief map of the state of California is carefully molded to replicate the state's varying terrain and uses an enhanced satellite image to highlight geographic elements. We've subtly annotated land and water features, key mountain peaks, major highways, and select cities and towns. This map was created with high-resolution modeling, making it the most accurate 3D map of California available today. Portions of bordering states and Mexico are also accurately modeled, without annotations in order to keep the focus on California.
This large map is available fully framed and ready to hang in a black anodized aluminum frame or unframed, perfect for pinning to a bulletin board.
Deciding Between Framed or Unframed OptionsThis map is available in two forms: poster-style, convenient for pinning to a wall or bulletin board, or fully framed and ready to be displayed as art. We carefully trim, mount, and frame each map to ensure a perfect fit in a hand-assembled black anodized aluminum frame.
If you intend to showcase the map as decor, we encourage you to order a framed version up front. Our framed map prices are well below those of a typical framing shop, but we’re not able to provide frames separately for maps that have already been shipped.
